Hello All,

I am seeking inputs on how to tackle the below situation
"COPR approved with old address on file." I have recently moved home and now living at a new address. Have to send details to CIC office for PR card dispatch, should updating CIC about the address change would take care of ensuring that the PR card will have my latest address and that it would be dispatched to my latest address and not the old one? Did anyone face this situation during the process?

Thank You!

I also moved during the PR process. As far as I can tell when I got my eCOPR I had to provide the address that I wanted my PR card sent to, it didn't seem to matter whether that was the address associated with my account or not.

Honestly I think I will wait for my card to arrive to my new address and then tackle getting the address listed on it changed afterwards.

Thank you for sharing your inputs. If I understand correctly, it doesn’t matter if eCOPR has old address. When I request for PR Card I will share my current address and it will be posted to that address and will have the same printed on it?

eCOPR doesn't have your address on it.
When they ask for your address to send the physical card you can put any address you want. They will probably send the card with your old address on it to your new address and once you receive it you can go through the steps of getting it changed.
