Resident of UAE but living here for less than 6 months, do I still need to submit PCC from here?

I have recently moved to the UAE for a job, and have secured the residence visa. I am also planning to join my husband in Canada through the Family class sponsorship.

Since I have lived in the UAE for less than 6 months, do I still need to provide PCC (as I hold a residence ID here?)

To my knowledge, less than 6 months not required to get a police clearance . However, the process to apply for PCC in Dubai is very easy, my wife applied online and she received the certificate in less than 10 minutes.
