Resident of Ontario / Spouse in Quebec

Hi,

I am studying in Ontario and I have enough scores to apply for EE (SW program). However, my spouse is a student in Quebec, and we are commuting between these two cities. I was wondering if there is anything that legally stops us from applying together from Ontario? If it helps: our intention is to stay in Ontario after we finish our studies as we have relatives here.
