residency requirement

Hi all,

I would really appreciate it if someone can answer me this question: I recently got the immigration visa to Canada and it expires in late Feb, 2009. So I plan to land in Feb, 2009. But I don't intend to move there until end of the July because I have applied for graduate school. So I don't want to quit my job until July. When I land in Canada next Feb, I won't have enough time to wait for the permanent resident card, how do I come back in July next year then ?

No relative, friend or anybody in Canada whose address you can give to receive the card? If you had somebody like that, you can ask them to fed-ex you the card to where you are.
