I came into Canada on a multiple entry temporary visitor visa, for "visiting friends" . My entry is valid for 6 months. My visa is valid for 5 years. Now there is a death within the close family in INdia. Can I go to India and return back within 5 days, under the same multiple entry visa ? I have not even completed one month stay in Canada.

Do not see any reason why not given not as though you stayed a long time initially and if asked just explain why you left so early. If you had stayed a few months left for 5 days and returned that could be a different answer given in that case usually best to stay away for at least the same time as spent in Canada. Ultimately up to the CBSA officer who may this time give you a specific stay, not another default 6 months,no way here to predict.
