Requirements for a Visit

Hello Experts.....

I would like anyone to help me out in getting some info.....

If one want to visit Canada on their own.....WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS AND BEST WAY TO SUCCESSFULLY GET A VISA..... its just a visit

If one wants to visit Canada with a very strong official invitation from a company with whom the candidate has been doing business for some time.....THE REQUIREMENTS AND TIPS PLZ.......

You will have to be careful not to make the VO think you are coming to work for that company. I haven't had any experience with this aspect of TRV. Have you tried doing a Forum search (top right white box on main forum page) to see if others have asked and answered this question before? Also google search might be useful. As you know, for any TRV you have to prove solid ties to home country and reasons why you will return home before the expiry of visa. Having the company invitation is a "compelling reason" for travel. Show that you have been and still are well employed, provide evidence that your job will continue after the trip (letter from superior confirming dates of trip and return to work), bank statements and assets, previous travel history (this shows that you have the finances to afford overseas travel AND that you have returned home before), family ties, cover letter to include how this travel experience will enhance your present employment, (knowledge you will bring home). Just my thoughts. Hope others will provide more.
