Requirement for Updated Police Certificate

hi

I have received request letter for additional documents which includes

"Updated original police certificates from country of residence for you and your spouse."

I have already submitted Police Certificates "since birth till January, 2017" when I submitted my application package to CIC. Can someone guide me that if I need to submit this updated police certificate

"from age of 18 till date" OR
"from January, 2017 till date"

Probably your recent PCC has expired.
You only need to submit a new PCC for yourself and your spouse from the country of your current residence. It should be issued no more than 3 months prior to the date of submission
