Require review about area in Mississauga

Hi,

We are going to finalize a condo (for rent) on Hurantario street (near Elm drive and central parkway) and wanted to know the review of the area.
We (Husband and Wife) are looking for decent area, where we can have a good public transport and decent indian/asian groceries availability.
Based on google maps and transit, we find the area well connected with public transport and close to square one and other areas, so good in that way.
Now, we want to know about the area review, i.e. any nuisance or not, or it is good area and decent neighborhood and any other issues, etc.

Hi, congrats on making the decision to rent a condo in that area.

The main plus points of that area are that it's got great accessibility within Mississauga and to Toronto. You can take the GO train to downtown Toronto, which is about a 30 minute ride to Union Station (for you, Cooksville is probably the closest station). There's lots to do in the area for shopping (Square One and grocery), recreation (Celebration Square, YMCA, community centres and libraries). Depending on the exact streets you're on, there may be some noise in evenings from overall traffic just because Hurontario and Burnhamthorpe, etc. are just generally busy streets, and public transit runs there too. But you'll find that in a condo building, for the most part, you can't hear traffic noise unless you have a window open. And if you're on a higher floor, lights won't bother you either. It's a pretty central location with several amenities available to you.
