Request passport for visa issuance,but no update on appl. status

I know I am probably being silly, but they request our passports August 10th for passport issuance. I am so excited, buffalo received them Aug. 30th , but when I check application status it still says"in process". Why doesnt it say"decision made"? The passport request said they would have my passports back to me within 15 days of receiving it so I am sure they will, but I wish they would update my status. Does anyone else have this issue or know whats up with that? Thanks for any help. : I am anxious.

I have seen people in the same boat. I do not have experience first hand but was told that not every IO update e-cas.

Thank you so much. I did a search on "status" and found one that talked about how the passport was requested and the status didn't change to "decision made for a month. That was so comforting...Thanks

my ecas status was changed to descion made 2 days after i received my passport with visa.

Sydney have had my passport for 9 days and ecas has just been changed to "decision made". It seems there is no clear rule on dates and ecas updates.... just keep hoping!

Don't worry about the e-case too much. Focus on your passport with the visa in it. I would love to see finally my PPR :'(

I am encouraged, but one more thing: I sent my passports express mail and according to the post office they received it AUG. 30. Did you all get an "email confirmation" from the embassy saying that they received your passports or did you just use the post office confirmation?
