Request for RPRF and how to send the fees from the US? Help

Hi guys. I received the request for my passport and RPRF. Since I live in the US and the Consulate I have to send them is in Brazil, I have two choices to send it by either payment in Brazilian currency or send a certified check in Canadian Dollars. How do I do that from the US, specifically on New York.?

Try a bank that deals with foreign exchange transactions. Ask the bank officer if he/she can issue you an international bank draft payable in Canadian/Brazilian currency. All major banks have divisions that deal with foreign exchange. I got mine, payable in Canadian dollars, thru my relative in Canada. Best of luck.

Thanks. I was wondering if I could go to a Canadian Bank here in the US and buy a certified check in Canadian dollar and send it.

Yes, it might work. Try RBC.com, I think they have branches in the U.S. Also, HSBC may be able to issue a bank draft, as they have branches both in the U.S. and Canada.
