hi there,
i applied for my parents on pr basis. they visited here in canada for 27 days.
cic requested rcmp clearance . but i replied them about staying of 27 days(i.e 6 months stayed ,then need to provide rcmp certificate).so i cant provide.
But they replied me i still need to provide rcmp certificate, doesnt matter they stayed for 27 days.
As my parents are in india now. i dont know how to do or wht to do.?

I did from J.K Consultancy as well, but I requested RCMP to mail it directly to the OTTAWA office and it was received by them within 10 Days. I asked my MP to double check the information and CIC informed that it has been received.

RCMP is different from indian PCC, they check this against interpol, FBI ,csec and other agencies.
most of the people applying for PR submit RCMP with their application other later on when CIC asks.

sometimes CIC ask for RCMP and sometime not.

There are various agencies in india who does RCMP fingerprinting. see my previous post.

could you please guide me as to how to go about it.
my local police says they are not entitled to take my fingerints and are sending me to another city where there is finger printing bureau ..
