Request for Medical & Passport

Hi,

I have received a letter from CHC delhi asking for documents including medical test result & passport. I had sent all my documents on 23rd March 2009.

Because of office work, I am not in India. And CHC has given only 45 days to submit all the required documents including my passport. My situation is that it will take 3 months to return to India. In this case, will I lose this opportunity?

Is there any way by which I can respond to CHC with the situation and they can extend the period in which I can comfortably send the required document?

I would really appreciate if someone can help.

You can go for medical in any country. I dont remember if it says anywhere that you've to go to doctors in India only.
So find the approved doctor by CIC, in the country you are in, from their web site at http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx and get your medical done.

Actually they have asked my passport as well. This could be a problem.

I m not sure about the extension.
But personally, I wouldn't let this opportunity go. I've seen the cases in the forum got rejected for silly mistakes.
wait for seniors to reply...try to alert PMM and Rupeshari..they might know something...

I am a physio who is on student visa in australia.
I have applied to CIC through normal post on 1st april 09.
I have made a mistake that I have not submitted checklist but I have sent all the docs for sure.
I have not got IELTS results as I have Acedemic that too more than 1 yr old.
Does it make any impact on their assesment of my case?
I am bit worried because I have not got any reply from them?
And more over If Ill get a positive reply and I am sure I would because I am in those 38 occupations with required exp, what will be the next proceidure for me ?
If you can guide me so that I prepare my self and plan to comeback to India accordingly.
When I have to pay RPRF ?
If you can give me your phone no it will be a big help because I have applied by myself so you can guide me !

Hi Ankur,
I have no idea where you submitted documents to NS CIC or local CIC?
There is no need to send checklist. Its for making sure we have submitted all the required docs.
IELTS General is requried to be submitted to local chc during 2nd phase ( i.e after getting AOR from NS CIC)
RPRF fee is required during later stages when they ask to submit.
Please provide clarity like where you submitted and dates etc. to get further info.

I have applied to CIC,NS on 1st april.
Have not got any reply from them.
