i am july 2007 london applicant, done medicals in march 2011 and in april 2011 reply, chc london mentioned that they will be sending me ppr in first week of may 2011. i send another e-mail on monday to confirm my ppr but i get the following reply,

Please be advised that your application is awaiting a background review by immigration officer. We will write to you when we are in a position to do so.

We hope this information is of assistance to you.

Hi,

This is ok. They do background security checks in every country you've lived in for 6 months or more to check you've not been involved in terrorism, subversion or espionage. If you haven't then you'll be fine and then they will request your passport so don't worry.

there is absolutely no need to get worried trust me this is their standard response prior ppr. u r almost through. good luck

No worries at all.

You should be getting PPR within a month. Sometimes back an applicant received more or less a same reply and got her PPR within a week or so . So be relaxed and expect to receive it very soon.

My friend, I help a lot of people - that's why I have 194 positive feedbacks. I dedicate many hours per day to this task, in fact. But unlike Nectar I do not claim to be any kind of expert - I am just an applicant who shares my experiences and the knowledge I have gathered during this process to help other people as best I can.

But I do not consider what Nectar does is helping people.

I do respect most people on this forum greatly. However, Mr Nectar seems to DEMAND respect and has done nothing to earn it, but confound and confuse applicants with his "breaking news" which is most cases has been proven wrong or misleading. He never links his source and seems to enjoy cruelly stringing applicants along. A few short months ago he was a clueless SAP 2007 applicant asking help from the seniors. You think in a few months he becomes an absolute expert who is always right?

You dare to say I am insulting people (and I fail to see how "lol" is insulting anyone or attacking anyone) yet you stand here and tell me I have a big mouth and are telling me to shut up. Quite the hypocrit, aren't you?

And the day I "keep my words to myself" or someone like you tells me what I may or may not post on this forum will be a very cold day in hell indeed. Subzero, in fact.

Nectar is not our boss (sure as hell isn't my boss), he is no expert and he is not a lawyer, of any kind. If you think any of that then it is you who needs to wake up from your dream, my friend.

Is that the best retort you can manage? You seem to have ignored most of my points, so I will have to assume since you can find no argument in response that you agree with them.

And most of those negatives are from Nectar-worshippers like you who cannot bare to hear their hero criticised for anything.

Yes for true you help many people. Sometimes i think because you are mature enough and a respected forum member, there are certain messages you have to ignore them. You must show signs of maturity at all levels. When you waste your precious time to rubbish messages, personally i really feel for you. Please do not drag yourself in mud and do not be little yourself. We all respect some members on this forum. Refraining from Answering some of these messages makes you have respect. Allow them do what they want.
Every bad person will always have his own friends.
