I’m a US citizen currently on a working holiday visa here in Canada.
This is my first and only Working Holiday that I received from SWAP.
Am I able to use the same recognized organization and apply for the working holiday for a second time before my current permit expires?
OR
will I have to apply for Young Professionals IEC using another recognized organization in order to get a second permit?
I ask this because I’ve been getting conflicting info from consultants and the CIC website. Consultants say that I have to wait at least a year before applying for another IEC - this makes no sense because on the CIC website it says that by using a recognized organization the discontinue requirement is waived.
On the other hand, organizations like GO! say that I can even apply for the same Working Holiday twice without any gap time between the expiry of my current permit and the second one.
So now I’m left confused and unsure of what path to take. I want to continue to work and stay in Canada for another year if possible. What are my options?
