I was wondering if someone can provide me some input for the process of renouncing Canadian PR.
I became a PR in 2012 and have my card till 2017, however in only worked in Canada for about 1.5 years and have no intention to return (other than to close my bank accounts). While I still have a valid PR card I want to avoid the questioning/secondary screen etc. and once the PR status is removed, I intend to apply for a eTA to enter Canada to conduct business.
Is the process smooth as filing out IMM5783? Are there any tips/tricks to make it move faster?
