Hello,
My parents had PR status since 2009, within the five years validity of PR card, they stayed about 500 days.
In 2014 they were out of country - so they could not get back in - and at last they renounce their PR status.

In 2016 we reapplied for their PR (New file under parents and grandparents) - they successfully got their PR status once again - now they just landed in June 2019.

My question is "Does their previous stay of 500 days can be counted under the new PR file to become a Canadian Citizen?

Best Regards,

When u count days towards citizenship u only count for the past 5 years and 5 years ago right now is 2014 (when they left country) so no
