Hi! We have been living in Canada for over 8 months now. My husband is a full-time student and I have a work visa. Our youngest daughter has a visitor record because she is not in school age yet. But her visitor record is about to expire because her passport is as well. I already renewed her passaport but when I tried to renew the visitor record online I got two forms which made me confused.
I am applying in her name, so all the information goes in her name. But she is only 2 and one piece of information which is mandatory is Employment history. I wrote the date she was born because I did not know what to do. But when I tried to fill out the other form about family information it says right in the beginning that you should fill it if you are over 18 or under 18 entering the country by yourself. Because we are already here I am not sure I should fill that form. But if I don't, they won't allow me to proceed. And on the form they also ask if her parents are accompanying her, but if fact it is she who is accompanying her parents. I am really confused.
Is it the right way to ask for a renew of visitor record for a minor? If so, should I fill in the form as it is? Please help me out if you can. Thank you!
