Renewing OHIP and SIN with COPR letter

Hi there!
Hoping someone would be able to help me out
I just did my landing on monday and was told the PR card will come in the mail on 8 to 10 weeks.
My OHIP expires at the end of this month (same expiry as my previous work permit).

Would I be able to renew my OHIP and SIN with just the Confirmation of Permenant Residence document?
Or would I need to wait for the actual PR card in the mail.....?

the physical pr card is not required for ohip or to get your sin. your copr and passport will work without issue. Note, OHIP eligibility will require a 3rd document that proves current ontario residency. the service ontario website will have this information.

nope. it is not required, it is an option. the copr is also an acceptable required document for both services.
