Hello,

As I mention in the tittle. I really need some helps for some information. Here is my situation.

I live in Montreal, Quebec. My CAQ will be expired in November. This is the first time I renew it. I did it with online application few months ago but there were something that made my profile on CAQ's webstie stuck. Actually I can't access to my file to see what's going on.

I've created an online profile and filled all the required fields but when it turned to payment page, which you have to make the payment before be able to access to your file, I skipped because I wanted to make sure the information was correct. The day after, I didn't log-in to my profile but used "fill in a new application" button, filled a new one and paid. The problem was the email I used for creating my profile was the email I used for the newer application. Since I haven't paid for the older application and the payment page's still there. It won't move until I pay. when I went to my email's inbox 1 week later, it said "A new message has been deposited in your file," if I want to see it, I have to log-in but whenever I log-in, it always shows the payment page so that I can't see WHAT THE MESSAGE IS. Basically, there were 2 applications using the same email, one was paid, one wasn't. I can't access to my file because the unpaid one blocks everything with its payment page.

I've tried to contact the government but they seem too far away from me with mazes of telephone options.
Then I decided to send my documents in person, by mail, directly to their office in Montreal on Notre Dame avenue. The documents I've sent are very full and clear. I just wonder if they get confused because I've sent both online and paper version.

Do I have to cancel the online version in order to get the paper one processed?
Can someone please tell me how to cancel the online version. These things are driving me crazy.

The online thing is a strange one, and you also don't know that what is the status of your online application and also the Paper version. In my opinion you should email them explaining the the situation , they usually respond to email in two to three days.............

They recommend the online one. They say it faster, more convenient. I didn't know, I just did what they say the best. Now it's the worst.

Do you think the paper version works? I sent it 2 weeks ago. I just worry about the online thing can affect the paper version.

Paper version takes more time than the online application, I think they should discard one application by themselves but do make an email regarding your situation.........

You have a unique case....best way is to email the same thing to the Quebec immigration email address. They reply in 4-5 days

I called them this morning and they said my files will be confused but they're analyzing if the documents were sent from the same person (me), then they'll merge them into one and all I have to do is wait 10 more days. It's just more information for them to check and more stupid money I've paid to learn.

Hope everything's going on the right way now!
