Hi,

I have to renew my PR card but in my application they ask for my travel history after I became a Permanent Resident.
Now I have an issue with this since I renewed my Dutch passport in 2009 and they took my passport.

That means I don't have any information on my travels between 2007 and 2009.
And unfortunately I don't have any emails about my travels either.

How do I go about this?
Can anyone please help me with this as it is urgent that I get this information......

Ps. calling to Citizenship and Immigration Canada doesn't really help either as they don't answer the phone.

Please help me!

My in-laws has same problem. They applied for PR card renewal November 2010. But they didn't received yet. they didn't leave 2 years in 5 years in Canada because of Health reason. We submitted all necessary document and medical reports but now they completed 3 years in Canada.

they received a letter with following message.

We received your application for a permanent resident card on January 14, 2011.

We started processing your application on March 23, 2011.

We transferred your application to the local CIC office on May 17, 2011. The local CIC office may contact you.

now they want to go back home (India) for 1 month bot they don't have PR card.

Please give me advice.

Thank...

You can actually order your travel history from CBSA and try to build from there or if you don't have time, as long as you meet the residency requirements without considering the time between 2007 and 2009, just tell them that you don't have the passport any more and you have absolutely no idea where you were.

They should stay until their PR cards have been approved. Applications always take longer when people apply without meeting the residency requirements because immigration has to look into their cases.

But before they said before November 2011 you can received your PR. Now they said we don't have answer.
They have to go India so there is any other option?

First you said they want to, now you say they have to. Is it so urgent that they are willing to risk their PR? With a pending PR card application where they had not met the residency requirements and they haven't heard the results yet, they are at a disadvantage if they leave because how will they get back?

For special cases like this, there is no timeline.
