Renewal of PR - Less number of days ! Please Help !!

Hi All,

i just have one question, my PR is getting expired 28th October 2016.
Thats about 12 months only for expiry.

I know that we have to complete 24 months or more to renew the PR.

Earlier i have stayed in Canada for 10 months ( exact) in 2012 and had to return to my birth country (India) due to some personal problems ( Had some land and property dispute, which is the only thing i have). Now it is solved.
Now i am ready to go back to canada, but want to check about the applicability of renewal of PR.

So 24 mnths(needed) - 10 (completed) = 14 months ( to complete) more for renewal, but i have only 12 left !!

Questions:
1. Does that mean i am done and cannot renew after Oct 2016.
2. Can i stay in Canada till Dec 2016 and then renew ?
3. i am done and the Canada PR option of renewal is gone.

Please advice.
Please help.

P.S: This is as i don't want to give up my existing job and take this risk.

1. You cannot apply to renew your PR status until you have 730 residency days in the last five years. Depending on what you left Canada, this may mean you have to wait more than 14 months before you can apply to renew.
2. You can stay in Canada until you have enough days to renew your PR status.
