Hi everyone,

I'm filling out the form to renew my PR card since it will expire before I can become a citizen. They ask the dates you have traveled outside of Canada since becoming a PR. I never knew I would need this info, so I'd not kept track of it. Is there any way to find this info?
Thanks,

You can order your entry and exit records for Canada here: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/pia-efvp/atip-aiprp/req-dem-priv-eng.html but they may not have a complete record. You can order your entry and exit records for the US here: https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/976/~/record-of-my-travel-in-and-out-of-the-united-states,-foia

If you have travelled to other countries, you can google their border services and if you can order entry / exit records from them. At least make sure all of your passport stamps are counted for and you may write a cover letter as well stating that you did not keep exact records and have pieced your travel history together from your best recollection and the info you have been able to order. That would explain it in case CIC decides to dig deeper and finds that you have made some trips that you did not declare or that some of your dates don't match.

You will also need this info if you apply for citizenship. It's not easy to claim you have been in Canada for 1095 days when you don't know the dates you were outside.
