Removing Conditions on OWP

Hi everyone,

I applied for OWP together with our spousal sponsorship. My OWP was approved Friday and received it in the mail today. As expected after reading the forum, I am not allowed to work in health services. What are the ways to remove this condition? I was working in a health care facility here in AB before my previous permit expired and currently I'm on leave pending the approval of my permit and now, I'm in this situation.

Get a medical done with a designated medical professional. Wait three weeks for the medical to be processed and then flagpole at a US/Canada land border to get the condition removed.

No - you don't need to phone. You just need to head down there. Use the search function on this forum to look for discussions with the word "flagpoling" to read about the experiences of others.
