Remote work experience inside canada as a student (Please help)

Hi guys...

I desperately need help on my matters.

While i was taking course in canada as an architectural technician, I remotely worked full time as an architectural technician from former company. The company was in south korea and also received my pay through south korea bank account. I knew this was possible since this does not count as work in canada. However, I am not sure if this will count as a foregin experience.

Also, another question is; after I graduated Architectural technician program(2 Year) in canada, I got my PGWP and got an experience of 2 years. After that, I enrolled Architectural technology (3Year program) to same school. Since i previously completed the 2Year diploma program, I gained direct admission into the 3rd year of the program. However, I heard that this doesn't count as an 3Year diploma. Is this true?

If someone can give me an help I would really really appreciate it.

Your remote job experience that you accrued while in Canada as a full-time student at a Canadian institute cannot be counted as foreign work experience.

Your degree should be counted as a 3 year diploma because you were admitted as a lateral student. But, you cannot claim yourself as a holder of two degrees/certificates/diplomas. Usually, once you get a lateral admission, the value of previously obtained diploma is not retained. I would still advise you to check you with your university on this.

To ask little bit further, I also agree with you that my degree should be count as 3 year diploma. However, under express entry score calculation '4b) Have you earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate?' can i receive point as an diploma of three year or longer?
