Don't worry. It is normal. They don't request remedical just after the expiration. They are doing your processing. When they decide you are eligible for PR, then they will ask for remedical. Normally they ask it at the end of the process so that you can land within the validity of the medical.

Amy612, you are right, don't be anxious about the re-med. The visa office will ask you to go to the re-med when your status will be ( in process)and it's look like positive when they ask you for re-med. Normally, if they reject the application, they don't ask for a new re-med. If they ask for a re-med, normally, you will know the decision 3-8 weeks later. My experience is: my wife med expired in oct.2011, they ask for a re-med in march 27, 2012. On ECAS, they wrote: medical exam done, on may 15,2012,( this week). Now we are waiting the decision. I hope this reply can help anybody who's waiting.

@bilbol11,

Just wait for the notice or remedical letter, dont worry too much. Its normal for them for not having sending remedical letter immediately eventhough your medical will expire or expired. Hope this helps.
