Yes you can. If you are receiving legal aid from that province you will need to be transferred to legal aid in the new province if it exists. Also if you are receiving social assistance you will have to notify the original province that you are leaving and sign up for benefits in another province.

Also why would the lawyer say you can’t move until the hearing, if there is no date for the hearing.
Not sure how you move legal aid lawyers. Your lawyer is paid by the province where you are living. If you move provinces they have no responsibility to represent you.

Legal aid is paid for by the province. If you no longer live in the province you don't qualify for legal aid in that province. You need to inform your lawyer that you have moved to Toronto for work. The last thing you should do is keep the truth from your lawyer. If there is a way for you to keep the same lawyer he/she will tell you how.
