Hi. I am Umar from Pakistan. My qualifications are BSc Hons Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and ACCA Membership with 3+ years experience in industry as an accounting trainee and 3 months of full time work experience as Financial Planning and Analysis Associate as well. I want to apply for Canadian immigration and have couple of confusions which are as follows:

1. If I select NOC related to accounting, can I work as a Financial Analyst later when I arrive in Canada?
2. Assuming I have completed WES and IELTS pre-requisites by November 2019, what would be timeline for visa receipt?

Thank You.

1. You can work in whatever job you want.
2. Right now you need to have 460+ points to be selected. How many points will you have in November 2019?

Hi. Just a quick question. Do I need to get my high school and secondary school examinations results verified through WES or only my BSc and ACCA are enough?

Think you may not have calculated your points rights. Don’t believe ACCA counts as a degree. No you don’t need secondary school evaluated.

Hi. Thanks for responding. Firstly, I have a BSc degree. Secondly, ACCA is equivalent to Masters in UK as per equivalency and that secures me enough marks too. But nevertheless, as a case filed, BSc + ACCA gets me points for two degrees or one degree and diploma.

Don’t believe CPA courses count so would have imagined ACCA didn’t count either. If you have looked into it then I am wrong.
