relevance of GPHR ( global HR professional certification ) from HRM in

Hi,

Can any one tell me if a GPHR certification from SHRM s useful in getting into a HR job in Canada. Am a HR professional with 7 yrs of experience , planning to land canada soon.

What skills or certification can be acquired in making myself job ready for canadian HR job market.Will learning French help ?

You should contact the Human Resources Association of the province where you're going to land. For example, in Ontario there's the HRPA, in Alberta it's HRIA, in BC, HRMA... Check with them to see their requirements.

I heard that a GPHR certification can get you a fast track to earn the CHRP designation. But you should go to those associations first and look for their specialized guidance.

I am also looking for some recognized courses which I can do here in India before moving there with my family next year. I can do any certification / online courses from canadian university which can help me land up a job in canada. I have 8 yrs exp in India in HR.
