Hi,
My Visa was also rejected for the same reason on 22.01.2016.
I have US visa for 10 years. I travelled to USA last Sep'2014 and returned to India during Jan'2015. Myself & my spouse travel quite often. We have visited UK twice. We have visited European countries, under schengen visa on two occasions. I have traveled to New Zealand & other East Asian countries too. The last travel was to Malaysia & Cambodia during Sep'2015.
My covering letter clearly stated that We are visiting USA ( New York & Salt Lake City,UT) during 19th May'2016 - 15th August' 2016. During the course of this visit we had planned to visit Canada. We had requested for multiple entry visa.
Despite these details, the Canadian consulate, Bangalore, has rejected my online application visa for myself & my wife on 22.01.2016. I feel its unfair & demoralizing to reject, without even asking any questions/ additional data. Is not somebody from the embassy having a look at this forum to take steps for redress/ rectify the mistake at their end?
Can somebody suggest me the way out for me? Irrespective of the Canadian visa we are visiting USA.
Chandar.

What evidence did you provide of ties to your home country in your application? What did you show as the funds available for your trip?

Hi Chandar,

1. What were the reasons for your TRV refusals both times?

2. Do post the list of documents which you submitted..... employment/business, financials, property, family ties?

3. For how long did you intend to visit Canada? Did you prepare a day-by-day itinerary with expense estimates?

4. Do you have friends/relatives in Canada who have invited you?

Although you have very strong travel history, the visa officer will also consider your ties to India.... also were your other visits to Schengen countries/NZ, etc for longer than 2-3 weeks each time?

CIC will not ask for additional information unless it is really necessary. It is for the applicant to submit really strong applications with evidence
