Hi! Everyone please help....

I applied 2009 as immigrant under FSW unfortnately, my application was
rejected by local visa office due to the reasons that .....

" They are not satisfied that I have a minimun of onw year of continuous
full-time, or equivalent pati-time paid work experience in the occupation
in the last ten years. Since you did not provide sufficient evidence that
you have the required work listed in the occupation, you do not meet the
requirements of the Ministewrial Instruction and your application is not
eligible for processing. "

In this situation is it possible for the Study Permit be granted? Or with the previous rejection will have an impact to what I am applying now.

Does anyone like this situation granted the visa?

Thanks,
Allyson

Hi,

I don't see any reason that your rejection with FSW will affect your student application, if you satisfy all the requirements for student visa application, you will have it, anyway, it will not be the same office or department will process your student application...the most crucial in student visa application is that you need to satisfy the VO that you will return to your country after completing the course, you must have a strong tie in your country such as properties you own, families, etc. You must be able to point out that it is more advantageous for you and for your country to study in Canada as you can apply whatever you have learned when you go back to your country....you must let them know that this is your intention, although you can re apply for PR again when you are in Canada...

We came here as student and applied for PR too...

hope this helps...

you're most welcome Allyson...by the way, in case you applied for student and you were able to make it here, there is another route to apply for PR other than FSW, my friend came here as a student too and they didn't qualify for FSW so they applied on a different route..there is always a way!

good luck,
