Hi, I just want to get an ease of mind. Recently we applied for my wife's visitor visa to be extended unfortunately it got refused. No problem, then we applied for restoration of status, again another refusal letter. So, by the next day she packed her bags and left for home.

I have some questions, all we got was a refusal letter I can't find a form number where can I find that on the document? Am I missing something? We were never given a specific date to leave, that she just has to leave immediately or whenever her visa expired which it did so she left and we were never told that she has to see an officer before leaving so was it just run of the mill refusal letter? All the documentation we received was just the refusal letter. We hope to have her back here soon so we can finally file our spousal sponsorship, but we're worried that we did something wrong on her departure and we might have to get an ARC which would complicate things. I couldn't find any clear cut answers or what the departure form looks like anywhere on the internet. We might just be being silly, but sometimes you can't help but worry. Thanks for any answers!

Hard to say without seeing the full letter.

Hard to say without seeing the full letter.

I'll post a screenshot, I crudely blocked out certain things, which was name and address, and the UCI but otherwise this is the full letter

I think you may be confusing departure with deportation. Looks to me from the letter that it didn't get as far as a deportation order. She would only have got that if she didn't leave.

Yes, I accidentally got the title wrong. I am asking though whether that is a departure order, because she has already left the country and we did not inform an officer that she did and an ARC would complicate things since we would like to spend holidays and my birthday together and file an inland Spousal Sponsorship.

Those orders usually give a time frame like 30 days. It said immediately IF your document has expired. In my opinion she is fine.
