Hi,
I have recently landed in Ontario as a new immigrant. Can anyone please elaborate on where I can go to register myself for health benefits and also for benefits and children programs for my kids. I am currently living in guelph. Thanks.

hey there neighbor! I'm in K-W. you can go to any service Ontario and apply for OHIP. I'm not sure by what you mean "and also for benefits and children programs"... like what kind of benefits, OHIP for your children? and programs like sports or daycare programs?

Thanks. For children's benefits I was told that the government offers some sort of stipends. I am not exactly sure if that is true and if it is then how to apply for it. :)

Don't quote me on this I am not 100% sure but the only Goverment benefit I can think of involving children is the (CCTB) Canada Child Tax Benefit which is a monthly payment and is calculated by your previous years tax return.
