my friend had his interview at the canadian embassy in manila last month but they didn't ask him to do a medical exam yet. The interview lasted 2 hrs. after the interview, the consulate told him that they will review his case and will contact him. it is almost a month now and he hasn't gotten any response. what can he do regarding this matter? what's the next step? can he call and follow up his status? he is afraid that his visa will be denied. he is applying as a live in caregiver. will they inform him through writing if he is denied or approve? and why did his interview come first instead of his medical exam? pls advise.
