Kindly have a look at my profile and let me know if I qualify?

Completed Bachelors of Dental surgery in 2007

Working as a dentist since 2007

Got Final Degree certificate in 2008

Got dental council registration in 2009

As I worked from 2007 to 2009 under another dentist and used his registration certificate so is it a valid work experience for Canadian immigration. Will they consider it.

Please let me know.

Regards

As long as you have practiced the following main duties of a dentist NOC 3113, it will be OK. You should also have a Certificate of Employment to back it up.

Main duties

Dentists perform some or all of the following duties:

•Examine patients' teeth, gums and surrounding tissue to diagnose disease, injury and decay and plan appropriate treatment
•Restore, extract and replace diseased and decayed teeth
•Perform oral surgery, periodontal surgery and other treatments
•Clean teeth and instruct patients on oral hygiene
•Design bridgework, fit dentures and provide appliances to correct abnormal positioning of the teeth and jaws, or write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for use by denturists and dental technicians
•Supervise dental hygienists, dental assistants and other staff.
Dentists may specialize in such areas as oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral pathology, oral radiology or public health dentistry.

If you have not yet submitted your application for the NOC 3113 Dentists, I'm afraid it will reach cap soon. Even you submit your application today, there is a very slim chance or zero chance at all for you to make the quota. :(

Thanks for replying to my query.Kindly also let me know what are the chances of immigration as a dentist after July, when new applications are accepted. Are dentists going to be there in the new skilled occupation list?

Thanking You

Nobody really knows if 3113-Dentist will still be included on next fiscal year. But it has been there consistently year per year. Just prepare your documents and read a lot on this forum for ever-changing information and CIC rules. Pray, Hope. ;D ;D ;D
