yes, i told you.. you will just need the minimum 8points for ielts . that's 2 points each for listening, writing, speaking, reading :)

PLS ANSWER SOME ONE MORE PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Manpreet,

You are right.....You get 65 points for what your are claiming.....
Make take this fact that even if you get 67 points but still you need to have at least basic communication skills.
So you should get at least 2 points in all the bands.....
So you have to score 8 points at least.....
Or else VO might reject your case on language basis.
So please work hard for your IELTS and get at least medium 2 points in all bands.
Hope this helps....

Hello everyone,

I just signed up today ..Welcome everyone!

I think this pont system a bit confusing..Don t you think?

My question is: Under adaptability, can I claim3 points for my husband , if he has 3 years of apprenticeship training, and total 11 years of education? Do they count kindergarten for 11 years of education?

Any answer will be appreciated

good luck guys!!!

Hello friends,

I need to get more clarity on one point here, My score without IELTS is 65, but the opinio of seniors is that i need minimum score of 8, is it writeen anywhere on cic.gc.ca?
Is there any written evidence or has anyone been rejected on language problems?

PLease reply me friends, I m too confused.....

Thanks in advance....

dear pgt,

Canada Visa Officers are strict when it comes to Language.
You need to have basic communication skills so it is recommended that you should have basic communication skills which is medium that is 8 points.
2 points in all bands which is of course very very easy to score.
Good Luck

Dear Irshad,

Thanks for your answer, I took the IELTS and my score is 6, I got less in Reading and Writing, and I got 5.5 in Listening and in Speaking. I get 2 in Listening and in Speaking but I get only one each in Reading and Writing. I have gone thru EG7 on page no 10, the band score to points table they have mentioned maximum two in basic proficiency row. Does it mean that we can claim one point in maximum two modules? If yes, I wont need to take the test again...

Please clarify it, I would be grateful...

u will clain 2 +2+1+1 =6 points

65+6=71.....go ahead...& enjoy
