regarding POF

I've recently got ITA and now preparing my file. Regarding POF, I've a FDR worth about 100,000 cad which is about 1.5 yr old.Do I need to show any document of my source of income. The fund is given by my parents as a gift by the way.

Pls help.
 
You don't need to show any source for that. Just your FD statement mentioning amount and duration would suffice.

As long as the last 6 months average is above the minimum POF required for your specific case (refer to the LICO table) then it should be fine, they only ask for source of funds if they suspect it is not yours and the main flag is raised if the money came as a lump sum recently (within last 6 months).
