Regarding pgwp

Hello I really need some information on pgwp
I got my study permit on 2023 - 2026 for 3 years for business administration program but i changed it to i year pre business program on jan 2024 and i completed that program on August 2024 and i took a 4 month break and I took a 1 year hospitality program on jan 2025 and it will be completed on august 2025. I have a doubt that do we need new study permit to change program and my program was not eligible for pgwp but my study permit is from 2023 to 2026 so is there any chance that my pgwp will be rejected. I contacted Ircc they told its fine but I need a confirmation. Could someone please help me with this.

but eligible field of study was introduced in nov 2024 and hospitality doesn't comes inder that but my study permit is from 2023 and i got the offer letter for hospitality in august 2024

You may be grandfathered in and get a PGWP for the length of your two programs combined as per IRCC.
