Regarding PGWP

@jweekend: Stop spreading false information dude. Show me the source where it states that moving from one province to another will disqualify you for PGWP length of one province? Some VOs might do this to you does not mean that you cannot hire an immigration lawyer and correct them. This has happened to my friend. To be honest, I cannot seem to understand why the process of issuing this permit is so inconsistent. It seems that it depends entirely on the mood of the officer. Also, having good marks on your transcript help in getting you 3 years PGWP as well.

Exactly you are not only eligible to for 3 years PGWP but also work full time between 2 courses within 150 days

I studied at Langara college for 1.5 years and got 36 credits which I then transferred to UBC. I have been at UBC for 3 years and will be graduating with a degree from UBC at the end of this year. However, while I was at Langara College I studied one semester part-time where I only took 2 courses. But at UBC I maintained full-time studies for 3 years. I was wondering if me doing one semester part-time at Langara College will affect my chances at getting a Post Grad Work Permit?

The student completed more than one program from an eligible DLI within 2 years.

The length of the work permit should combine the length of each program. If the combined length of the programs is 2 years or longer (or 1,800 hours or longer for DVS and AVS programs in Quebec), the work permit may be valid for up to 3 years.

so this "two years" means from the beginning of the first program to the end of the second program? That sounds like if someone is taking a half-year break between these one-year programs, they will be not qualified for 3-year PGWP. Is that correct?
