I am expecting my stamped passports from Newyork office anyday. Can you all tell me how to go about landing there with the goods etc? Which forms do I need to fillup for carrying the general household items and some expensive electronics items and jewellery.How do I take my car along? Is there a web link where I can get all the information needed for moving to canada? How are the custom duties paid? Please let me know the procedure!
And tell me if I am wrong! Once landed it takes about 3 months(!) to get the PR card mailed to a specified Canadian address.
What is the procedure for acquiring the SIN and the Health card? I am planning to land through Detroit.
What else am I supposed to do regarding moving there in terms of the basic formalities? Let me know anything that I may have missed. I know too many questions but I am in dire need of some genuine suggestions.
