Hi,

My name is Manav adwal and i am living in Delhi(India). I have been thinking for applying Canada visa(permanent immigration )under FWSP category. I have 5+ year experience(IT Dataware housing) and IELTS score(GT) is (L,R,W,S)(8,6,6.5,6.5)(Avg-- 7) and i am qualifing the required points (67 minimum) (my points 68).

My query is would visa officer reject my application at the time of interview if I am not employed at the time of interview or would it affect my application at any point of time.

Besides this till date(22-june-2014) 157 applications have been received by CIC so if i start my process in July
1,2014,whether my application will come within cap or not. Apart form that what are the possible reasons for rejection for Canadian visa under FWSP.

What are my chances of getting a visa.

thank you

Hi Manav,

You seem to be all set to apply. There is no pre-requisite of working at this point. You should have minimum 1 year of experience in your NOC in the past 10 years, that's all.

Not just 157, many more have reached CIC. Those are just the numbers from first week of May.

But depending on which NOC category you are looking to apply to, you can still fall within the cap, if you manage everything fast enough.

All the best

Hi ,

Can any one tell me how many applications have been received by CIC so far, or give me website so that I can check it myself.

Thank you

Hi friends,

My wife landed in Toronto on June 22, 2014 by Intra Company Transfer(ICT). She went on worker visa. And I have Open Spousal Work Permit. Both of our visa is getting expired on Aug 25, 2014 hardly 2 more months.

For some reason, I'm unable to travel with existing OSWP.

I'm planning to apply for FSWP 2014 noc 2173 and has collected all document expect for IETLS score card, which i will get in July 7.

1) Please suggest me whether should i go ahead with apply FSW14 or is there any visa/program under which i can apply.

2) If my wife get WP extension, can i get WP extension easily or should i need to submit documents and apply new OSWP?

Thank you
