Regarding GIC not accepted

Dear sir/madam

Wire transfer of GIC fund to Scotia Bank by my friend has been not accepted and has been returned for some reasons
and the given to my friend reason is that (ORDERING AND BENEFICIARY CUSTOMER NAME DOES NOT MATCH OUR RECORD)

can you help me about the same
That what was actually happened?
what my friend can do now?
In how many days GIC fund will be back in my friend's account ?
and lastly will it effect further filing process for Canada study visa if my friend transfer his GIC fund to Scotia Bank again after correcting his account information.

The Name must appear ditto same as the passport on your GIC account
The funds must be transferred from Student's Own account with the same name,
Your friend can send funds again after correcting the mistakes,
GIC funds usually return within working 15 - 30 days
There is no negative effect on the filing process for a study visa..

Check if the name exactly matches on passport and GIC account
Funds were transferred to the GIC account from the student's own account or someone else's?
