Regarding EI concern

Hi
I have submitted my Pr application in august this year and i was on work permit during that time . So due to covid i applied for EI and received money but when my work permit expire can i apply for it or should i wait for my bridging to work permit to reapply for EI because i have not applied for EI since my permit expires .
can anyone tell me ?
