But in Ontario it is mentioned as habitually resident in Ontario after separation. But I came to Canada for him only. Unfortunately I received divorce which leaves me hopeless and emotionally
So no issue immigration wise if you lived together in Canada for 8 months before separating. As long as you and your spouse meet the requirements to file for divorce in Ontario/Canada there is no reason why you shouldn’t file for divorce in Ontario/Canada especially if you are both residents of Ontario. As you are already aware you will have to wait to file until you have been separated for 1 year.
If you try to file for divorce before you have been separated for a year the divorce will not get processed. How long have you been separated if you only arrived 8 months ago?
So you are only visiting Canada. Upon entry you are normally only granted a 6 month visit so you apply to extend your visit? Why are you in Canada if you have been separated for almost 2 years and you separated in India.
We stayed together for 2 years in Toronto and later in India it is happened after that I came to Canada on Sept 20,2024. But in rule it is mentioned the same I mentioned before
This is very confusing what do you mean by you didn’t separate on your own. Either you are separated or not. You and your future ex should have the same date of separation.
