Regarding course selection, BIT at Red Rivers or similar

Hi All

Before i start, i should mention Tiger, Ive been reading up on this forum for a while now and you're among the few who has a very in depth knowledge of various Canadian institutes and are actively helpful to fellow forum members, so two thumbs up for that

I am also looking at Business Information Technology at Red River and Network Engineering Technology at NAIT but the entry requirements might be a little difficult to meet since my B.tech percentage is 53% with 24 backlogs. Although I do have an IELTS score of 8 band and 2 years of corporate experience(past one year with Google as Analyst through vendor and currently still working for Google as Senior Analyst but as a full time employee of Cognizant), so how particular would these colleges be with regards to the backlogs? their 400$ application fee for RR is pretty steep so would not apply if there is not a good change of getting in.

Also are there any good colleges/unis in toronto/ontario with similar diploma courses or something in the project management or product management courses which are worth attending? Reason I ask for ontario is I have my cousins there and would save the cost of living if I attend college there. Would prefer a 2 yrs course, any suggestions?

i have searched entire list of colleges & uni in ontario & alberta on wikipedia for project management diploma/masters course.
my profile similar to urs...52% & i hvnt counted my backlogs but would be 20+
1) PG diploma programs are 1 year full time only..it can be 2 yrs but part time which wont give u PGWP
2) 2yrs courses are masters only and there is no uni that will provide admission at 53%. there are 2 years diploma programs but visa will be rejected as u are already a BE.
3) project management courses are maily in ontario - centennial, humber (sept waitlisted), seneca, sheridan (co-op), conestoga, fleming, fanshawe (i hv recieved admsn letter for fanshawe for prj mgmt). there are the only colleges that are offering PG certificate in project management.
4) Ontario is a state. To save living costs u hav to identify cousins residence an find a college near by.

Thank you for the reply Fareed, I understand that Ontario is a province and not a city, my question was are there any worthy colleges in Ontario province worth attending since everyone has not so good things to say about colleges like centennial and mohawk and the likes, I was hoping Tiger can shed some light here...
