Hi,

Greetings for the day.

I and my family have planned of migrating to Canada and we don't even know where to start. Our home country is India and currently I am in KSA.

About me:
Total experience: 12 years & 1 month (3 years & 7 months of production experience and 8 years 6 months of SAP experience).
PMP certified & ITIL V3 foundation certified.
Executive Master's in Business Administration (eMBA) in Project Management.
Master's Degree of Technology (M.Tech.) in Production Management.
Bachelor's Degree of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering.

About my wife:
She has an experience of 4+ years in Cardiac department, worked in various areas like TMT, ECG, Echo etc.
Executive Master's in Business Administration (eMBA) in Health Care Management and Hospital Administration.
Bachelor's Degree of Science (B.Sc.) in Cardiac Technology.

About my children:
Eldest son is 5 years old and he is studying in nursery.
Youngest son is 1 year old.

I have few queries:
1. Where and how do I need to apply for citizenship?
2. Can we have dual citizen (both Indian and Canadian citizenship)?

Kindly guide me.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Fahim PMP

I recommend posting this to one of the other boards dedicated to immigration. For example Skilled Worker or Provincial Nominee.
One cannot apply for citizenship without being a permanent resident of Canada first and being physically present in Canada for at least 3 years.

To add to that, here's a link that may be helpful as a starting point;

Hello! You need to be a "Permanent Resident" first to apply for Citizenship. Go to the website as mentioned above by touché and check you elegibility. You will get the guideline from there. Good luck.
