Last time I "flagpoled" for my second visa I was interrogated by the US customs and I was so nervous I admitted to previous use of drugs in my youth which I haven't touched in years. He gave me a “Notice of Refusal of Admission/Parole into the United States” told me in futirte I have to say I was refused entry into the states and sent me on my way back into Canada which I obtained my visa.
I recently was granted my PR so I decided to treat myself on a vacay to Hawaii seeing as I have to leave and re-enter, now my concern is I have been reading up on flagpoling and admission to drugs and that this can be terms for dismissal in the future. The online application for my ESTA asked if I had ever been refused to US which if I answered yes I couldn't proceed so I answered no and now reading otherwise. Does anyone have any advise on this topic?
