For my letter of reference (because my former boss was lazy), he included my title, start date, salary and "Full time" & indicated the HR description of my job was attached in the letter. The 2-page HR description was attached. If you can get a copy of your job description from your human resource/hiring department, I would suggest this route.

I'm sorry, what route? You mean attaching evidence in the form T4s, NOAs, etc? I have attached only me Record of Employment from Service Canada as I had to quit that job.
