Refusal from Canada

10th in 2007 with 66 %
12th in 2009 with 60 %
B.c.a from 2010 to 2013 with 58 %

Given ilets twice
1) September 2013 6 bands overall
2) April 2014 6 overall ( R 5.5 , W 5.5 , S 6 ,L 7 )

Got offer from Northern light college in British Columbia course taken business management in it specialist.


Applied for visa on 1st September and got refusal on 20 th sep 2014

Reason
1) gap given in studies
2) low ilets
3) low academic

My questions are
1) can i reapply after taking ilets again
2) is there is any chance of visa if reapplied ?

Well the reasons speak for themselves, low IELTS score! The gap in studies is not a major concern as long as you have a proper, strong SOP and a reason to back you study gaps.

Make sure you get a strong SOP while applying for the visa.

Also re-take IELTS and try to cross 6.5!

As for the admissions you can postpone your joining to winter intake if its available.

I will take ilets again and wiil try to take 6.5 or more..

Rest gap..my previous consultant have not guided me properly.before applying for visa i asked my consultant to whether to show why there was a gap in my studies ? He said no need for that...
Canada accept 2 years gap.

If possible then tell me the best consultant in india for canada
Would wait for you reply keenly.

Its really difficult to give such an advise, i suggest you to be active on this forum. Gather information from your side, consultants are paid to do things its a business for them, for you its your career. So get the information from authorized sources.

If you are keen on consultancies i would suggest you to mail the college you are applying for to send you a list of authorized consultants.

For example, here is a list of consultancies authorized by NAIT(north alberta institute of technology)

But remember the consultant can only help you secure an admissions, they can never influence you Visa Process!

You'd need a very high IELTS score (7-9)to compensate the other two issues (Gap in studies and Low grades)

Anything is possible - BUT, don't be surprised if you're refused again b.c of the same reasons given above

hello sir,
i have done msc it with 76% in 2013 and work experience for 1 year applied for study permit two times but i got rejections.
first tym lambton college for one year IPRO program for jan2015 intake under spp.
second tym conestoga college for 2 year Embedded system development for may 2015 intake under nonspp
Rejection reason for this tym is
Proposed program is not reasonable in light of past studies and work.
i have done ielts overall 6.0 not less than 5.5(s6.5,r6.5,l6.0,w5.5)
please tell me the solution i want to reapply.

Was the reason of gap stated? A mere 1 year gap makes so much difference? ???
I m having 1 year gap after diploma in which i regave all my subject to improve percentage.
Also I have 4 years gap in between my graduation as my father got ill and I got to handle family business.
Can my gaps ruin my case? I have never been free in gap thou, I have all work experience documents for what i did + medical papers of my father's illness. Really worried... :-[

My profile - 10th std 73% (2008), 12th std - 84% (2010) , B.E., Civil Engineering 7.07 cgpa with 4 backlogs (2014).
Got offer letter for project management in centennial college may 2015. Paid registration deposit and GIC. Showing proof of funds worth of 90,000 CAD. My parents are sponsoring my education. My ielts score in Listening - 8.5, reading writing and speaking - 6.5, overall - 7. Done my medical examination. Did i have to pay the first semester fees in advance?? I have paid 2600 CAD as registration deposit. my tuition fee is around 18000 CAD and I have paid GIC of 10100. Going to apply for VISA this week. any chances of rejection :-[ am confused??
