a TRV is a temporary visa and require the applicant to show strong ties back home and prove that he/she will leave Canada at the end of the trip.
In your case, with a strong tie (spouse in Canada) it will be very difficult to convince a visa officer that the person will depart at end of the stay on a TRV.

TRV for spouse is now easier to get but not guaranteed. What kind of relationship history do you have especially time in person? How much savings have you shown and how much has your spouse shown? What kind of ties to your home country do you have like a job, property, etc.? What is your spouse’s citizenship and are they living in their home country or in another country? How did you obtain PR and when?

After how many day, you got decsion on spouse visitor visa ? Did you submt AOR as well ?
