Hello everone , I have previously received a rejection for a tourist visa application، The message was rejected and reads as follows:
I am not satisfied that you have truthfully answered all questions in the documents youhave submitted in support of your application, as required by subsection 16(1) of the IRPA.Specifically, I am not satisfied that the following information is truthful: You have not declaredyour previous US visa refusals.
So my question is, will this rejection affect my application for the Express Entry program?
thank you

No it shouldn't unless this was a PFL and a 5 year ban. But you must say yes that a visa was rejected.

Regarding the question about previous visa refusals, I answered “No” because I believed the question was referring only to Canadian tourist visas. I did not realize that I was required to declare all previous visa refusals from any country, including the United States. I was genuinely unaware of this requirement at the time of my application, and there was no intention to hide any information.

So it wasn't a ban just a refusal. You still need to always say "Yes" to any refusals for any country. So do the same for your PR applications. Congrats on invitation.

Thank you in advance, but I have not received an invitation yet. I am planning to apply for the Express Entry program this month after obtaining good scores in the language test. That is why I was worried about the impact of that previous refusal in the future.
:D

So you are not applying but submitting a profile. What is your score and NOC? Do you have Canadian education or work permit?
